Frequently Asked Questions

We offer custom-made take-home bleaching trays with professional-grade teeth whitening gel so you can whiten and brighten your smile at home. We also use Zoom! in-office teeth whitening if a one-time trip to the dentist’s office sounds more appealing.

With our Whitening for Life program, we make attaining a brighter smile even more appealing. During your first visit to our Blacklick dental office, we create custom bleaching trays for you. Then, during regular dental exams every six months, we will give you complimentary teeth whitening bleach. It’s our way of encouraging you to make those dental visits every six months for the health—and beauty—of your smile.

If you are looking for a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to the dark fillings you received years ago, you’re in luck. We offer composite resin fillings, which are tooth-colored and hardly noticeable. They are also mercury-free, making them a healthy choice.

If you would like to have old, dark fillings replaced, let us know! We can also replace your metal crowns with porcelain crowns if so desired

Of course! We provide Invisalign clear braces for adults who want straighter teeth without the hassle of traditional braces. Using 3D imaging, we design a set of clear plastic aligners with your specific smile goals in mind. You simply wear a new aligner every few weeks while your teeth slowly transform into a straighter smile.

Few people realize that missing teeth cause a chain reaction that can lead to other problems. The teeth around a missing tooth or set of missing teeth will begin to shift, giving food more places to hide and cause cavities, and you can experience problems eating and speaking normally. Eventually, more teeth may fall out as a result of a single missing tooth.

That’s why it’s so important to explore tooth replacement options such as crown and bridge, dentures and partials, and dental implants. Havens Family Dental can help you decide which tooth replacement option is right for you

DIAGNOdent is our cavity-detecting laser. We can use it to scan your teeth to look for decay and weak spots, and this means earlier detection of oral health problems as well as not having to use the traditional dental hook to inspect each tooth.‚Äč
